Publication of "Tribology of Ceramics (in Japanese)"

Advanced ceramics give low friction in water, and show superior wear resistance that cannot be obtained by any metals. Their practical uses as tribological elements have steadily spread. 
　　　　In this research group we have focused on not only ceramics but also hard coatings, and we supply a place for “introduction and discussion of new research results and information exchange of latest technologies” in terms of the basis of their tribology, the development trend of the materials, and their new applications.
